Hieroglyph Publishing/Entertainment submission rules
Hieroglyph has eyes on the future and knows that many good unsigned authors have talent with no outlets. As such, big changes are on the horizon, so acknowledge this level three (3) movement, a Publishing Company that offers an opportunity to the unsigned hype (authors) of having their work published and distributed. Our goal here at Hieroglyph is to provide respect to the authors and readers alike so it's a bond in the promise too always release the best works along with compelling stories in our "Hood Stardom" collection , the Poetry or Conscious work of material.
*Submission Guidelines and Prerequisites:
Hieroglyph Publishing/Entertainment is currently looking for authors in the following genres: Fiction Hood Stardom (urban/street) writings, Erotica, Mysteries, Poetry, Suspense, etc. Non-fiction including Inspirational/motivational work, Memoirs etc
For non-fiction, send a cover letter/query, including the author's qualifications and connections relevant to the book's content and marking, the summary of the outline of the book's content, along with 5 Chapters.
Submission Formats
All submissions must be in the following format of these 7 stages.
1) Typed, one side, double space
2) Paragraph starts indented
3) 1" margins on all four sides of the page
4) For emphasis, Italics
5) Avoid non-standard, fancy fonts and unnecessary changes in font face size etc. Must be reasonble or Hieroglyph staff won't read past where they started at on the material.
6) Use Chapter headers and scene break indicators (i.e. **** or ####)
7) Title, authority (last name is good enough) and page number ay top of each page is mandatory.
Your full name, mailing address, email, telephone number all must be on the front page.
Viral address, no manuscripts should be sent there.
